Typekit Fonts for WordPress v1.7.2 released
Typekit have recently changed their default embed code so that Typekit fonts are now loaded asynchronously, in order to improve the performance of websites using Typekit fonts.
Today, we have released a new version of our Typekit Fonts for WordPress plugin, which now uses this new asynchronous tracking code.
This is great news for the web, as it should reduce the loading time of Typekit enabled websites.
We’ve also updated the plugin in preparation for WordPress.org adding language pack support to WordPress plugins, so in the not too distant future the plugin will be able to be translated using translate.wordpress.org.
The new version has also been tested with WordPress 4.3.1.
If you notice any issues with this new version, please post on the WordPress.org support forums.
