HootSuite has added support for self hosted WordPress websites – it previously only supported WordPress.com accounts.
For the socially minded, you can now use your HootSuite dashboard to post to your WordPress blog, as well as your Facebook & Twitter accounts and other social media.
The integration is quick and easy, just find the HootSuite Apps panel, tick the box to install the WordPress.org app, and then add your WordPress website URL and user/password.
The editor is basic, and doesn’t work anything like the WordPress post editor. But it will let you compose and publish short posts directly to your website from the HootSuite dashboard.
