Tourism Booking Enquiry

If you are a tourism operator, you are more than likely interested in getting enquiries and bookings. This might include:

• Tours: date, tour code,adults/children, special requirements
• Accommodation: date, nights, adults/children, accommodation type, special requirements

Even if you have facilities for online bookings (where visitors specify dates and make a payment with a credit card), you still might want them to be able to enquire about availability or bookings using a structured booking enquiries form.

Here are some examples of tourism operators using structured booking enquiry forms:

Form Part 2: Tour Booking Enquiries

1. Tour Date Field Yes, ask for the Tour Date No, Tour Date not required
2. Tours Enter the choice of Tours (up to 40 character descriptions). Use a new line for each Tour.
3. Numbers Use a new line to indicate each category of tour participant you want numbers specified for. For example, Adults, Children, Concession.
4. Other Tour Fields Specify any other fields you require. Make sure to tell us the name of the field and the allowable values.

Form Part 3: Accommodation Booking Enquiries

1. Arrival Date Yes, request arrival date No, no arrival date
2. Departure Date Yes, request departure date No, no departure date

4. Accommodation Type Specify the accommodation types available. Use a new line for each, use a short description of no more than 40 characters.
