Get started with a simple 3 page website with integrated blog, and add new pages and posts with the easy-to-use WordPress Dashboard.

These are great tools for a business, but setting them up correctly can take time. And might involve you having to learn complex technical tasks that you won’t need to complete again. All of which can distract you from … the main game …

An Easy Way to Get Started

If you want to focus on what you are best at rather than getting all technical, OM4 can provide the following services for you:

  • Google Apps Setup : set up your Google Apps account with your logo and your custom email addresses. We set up your account, do all the DNS configuration including some rather hard bits (like setting up SPF records, which Google recommends, but can present technical challenges for first timers)
  • WordPress Setup : set up your WordPress website with a custom header using your logo, a blog and custom content for 3 initial pages (you can add more pages yourself using WordPress). Professionally presented, configured to be search engine friendly and with many of the finishing touches you don’t get if you do it on your own (such as video tutorials on how to complete common tasks, and a carefully selected set of business oriented WordPress plugins pre-loaded and ready for when you need to activate and use them).
  • Hosting, Security & Support: OM4 provides Managed WordPress Hosting, which means we not only host your website (on fast, business grade hosting) but we keep it up to date with WordPress and plugin updates, which is widely recommended for security purposes. We also help you out through the OM4 Support Desk with user-friendly how to support – great for non-technical business owners who just want to be able to get things done.

What It Costs

OM4 will keep your Google Apps DNS hosted and your WordPress website hosted for a simple monthly fee – there is no minimum contract period, and you can cancel any time and move your Google Apps account and WordPress site any time you want.

Our one off setup fee for this service is $780 USD, and our ongoing monthly fee is $45 USD/mth, all paid through PayPal.

  • Domain Information

  • Please enter the domain name for your website. For example, www.yourdomain.com or just yourdomain.com. Your Google Apps services will be available from mail.yourdomain.com, calendar.yourdomain.com etc.

  • Use your domain registrar login to update your domain name servers to the following:

    • ns1.om4hub.com
    • ns2.om4hub.com
    • ns3.om4hub.com

  • Website Setup Options

  • We will lay out a custom website header for you using the logo you provide, together with an optional Website Title and Website Tagline. For example:

    • Website Title: ABC Widgets
    • Website Tagline: Reliable widgets delivered to your door
  • Please upload your logo. This will be used to customise your website and your Google Apps account.
    Choose your preferred font for the header. Check out sample fonts.
  • Provide initial text for your home page, or leave blank. You can use the WordPress editor to enter or update text yourself after your site is commissioned.
  • Upload an optional image you would like featured on your home page. You can add images yourself after your site is commissioned.
  • Provide initial text for your About page, or leave blank.
  • Upload an optional image you would like featured on your About page.
  • Provide initial text for your Contact page, or leave blank. This text will precede your Contact Form fields (see below).
  • When visitors to your website fill out your Contact form, what email address do you want to send it to?
    Your Contact Page can include a contact form allowing entry of specific fields - tick the fields you want included on your form. You can update fields or add new ones after your site is commissioned.
    We will configure your WordPress website and set up DNS records for it to operate. You can move your website away from OM4 at any time simply by updating your domain's name servers and arranging new DNS records at a new hosting provider. You can use the standard WordPress export facility to export your pages, posts and comments and then import these into another WordPress site.

  • Google Apps Setup Options

  • We will establish a new Google Apps account in your name. Your account will be configured with your logo. We will configure DNS records so you can access your new account services at the following URLs:

    • Mail: http://mail.yourdomain.com
    • Calendar: http://calendar.yourdomain.com
    • Docs: http://docs.yourdomain.com

    Once your account is configured, you will be able to configure access to your email account via your preferred email reader such as Outlook, Apple Mail or iPad/iPhone.

  • Provide the first name, last name and new email address (@yourdomain.com) for the Google Apps Super Administrator account. For example, Joe Citizen, joe@yourdomain.com You can add more administrator accounts after your account is commissioned.
  • Your Google Apps account can have multiple acccounts. Provide the first name, last name and email address for standard account holders. For example, Greg Bilson, gbilson@yourdomain.com - you can add more account holders, configure nicknames and set up groups after your account is commissioned. Note Google Apps Standard accounts can have up to 10 accounts, including the super administrator.
    If you'd like us to be able to login to your Google Apps dashboard to carry out support tasks like adding new user accounts, resetting your password or updating your configuration, we can add an account for this purpose. OM4 provides How To support in how to use your Google Apps account via the OM4 Support Desk whether we have an administrator account or not. The OM4 account will count towards the number of your Google Apps accounts. The OM4 account won't have access to read your email or calendar entries, however it can execute a password reset for your account if you request it.
    We will configure your Google Apps account and set up the DNS records required by Google. You can move your Google Apps account away from OM4 at any time simply by updating your name servers and arranging new DNS records as per Google's instructions.
