We’ve recently published a new support article to help you prepare images for your website.

Using your digital camera to prepare images for your website is a wonderful idea. But to keep the response time of your web pages nice and fast, you need to do a bit of prep before posting them.

  1. This is so true. It really amazes me how few people understand this and do this. Their site would be so much more pleasant and load considerably faster if they would take the time to do this. Some sites I don’t even bother with. If it takes way to long to load I’m gone. Another thing they do is show way too many blog posts on per page. I have to scroll forever to get to the bottom of the page. Reduce the number of blog posts per page would help a lot too.

All true. The faster broadband gets, the more multimedia we have to soak it up…

Amazing review. I’m a professional photographer and I just a learned a few new things. I loved your analogy to weight because I never ever thought of it like that!

I got my images resized and on a diet! ha

Got my blog going this morning, got it optimized tonight.

    On to a good start!

    Thanks again.
