How to Use Categories and Tags for your Blog Posts
When you write a blog post, you can assign it to one or more Categories and one or more Tags.
Here is the way we recommend you use Categories and Tags for your business website.
Use Categories to create a Table of Contents for your blog, just like a book has a Table of Contents. Categories groups your posts together logically.
Like a book, a section only appears once in the Table of Contents. So each post goes in one (and only one) category.
To put your Table of Contents on display, simply add the Categories widget to your sidebar.
Use Tags to create your blog Index. This will let people find your content based on the main words used in each post.
Each post can have many tags, just as an article can be linked to many times from an index.
Visitors can see your Tags Page (your Index) by clicking on any one of the tags at the bottom of a post.
